Terms and Conditions

Here you will find the terms and conditions that apply to your visit to KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg. Select the relevant category below and read more about the conditions for standard accommodation, group bookings, conferences, and parties and functions.

Parking

You can register and pay for parking via the Easy-Park app. We would very much like you to download Easy-Park in advance.

Note that there are two different zones:

  • The hotel's own zone: 4546 – price DKK 100 per day – payment via the EasyPark app.
  • Public car park: 9077 - payment via the EasyPark app or at the payment machine.

Breakfast buffet

Breakfast is served on weekdays from 6:30 to 9:30 and at weekends from 7:30 to 10:30. During peak season, there may be extended opening hours on weekdays. 

If you have booked without breakfast, you can always add it later – on the days that suit you best.

Overnight stays

Cancellation:
By writing or telephone no later than 18:00 the day before arrival.
 
No-show:
In the event of a no-show without written or telephone cancellation, the first night will be charged.

Groups

For groups of 15 people or more, the following conditions apply:
 
Participant list:
No later than 10 days before arrival, the customer must send the participant list with room allocations to the hotel.
 
Cancellation:
  • 30 days before arrival free of charge.
  • Up to 20% of the booked rooms can be amended free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
  • If more rooms are cancelled than 20%, 50% of the price will be charged.
  • In the event of cancellation at a later date, 100% of the price will be payable.

Meetings, conferences & courses

Cancellations and reductions in the number of participants must be made by email.

Cancellation
  • 60 days before arrival free of charge.
  • 59–10 days before arrival, 50% must be paid
  • If payment is made less than 10 days before arrival, 100% must be paid
Reduction in the number of participants
  • Up to 10 days before arrival, free of charge, subject to a maximum of 10%.
  • If the reduction exceeds 10%, 50% must be paid.
  • If payment is made less than 10 days before arrival, 100% must be paid

These terms and conditions apply unless you have a corporate agreement that contains another agreement.
For corporate agreements, these conditions do not apply and the applicable ones are described in the agreement. 

Special diets:
We are happy to cater for special diets, but these must be notified 10 days before the start of the event and may incur a surcharge.

Parties & events

Standard terms and conditions:
  • All prices include VAT, room hire, table setting, service and are based on a minimum of 20 guests.
  • Table decorations are classic and simple. Larger floral arrangements can be purchased by arrangement.
  • We are happy to accommodate special diets, but these must be notified 14 days before the start of the event and may incur a surcharge.
  • Beyond the agreed event timeframe, a charge of DKK 900 per commenced hour will apply.
  • Children under 10 years of age get half price on buffets and menus.
  • On public holidays, a 5% surcharge is added to the final invoice.
  • A deposit of DKK 3,000 must be paid when booking/reserving the room. This will be deducted from the final invoice, but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of the party.
  • Reduction in the number of guests will be sent by email and can be made free of charge up to 10 days before the party.

 

Special conditions for hotel agreements

If you have a hotel agreement with KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg which includes special terms and conditions, these will supersede the hotel's standard conditions. Therefore, it is always the conditions in the concluded hotel agreement that apply.
