At KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg, we create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for memorial events where you can gather in beautiful and modern surroundings. We understand that a memorial gathering is a special occasion, which is why we do our utmost to offer a personalised and caring service. Whether you are a small or large gathering, we will customise the venue to suit your needs and wishes so you can remember in peace.

COMMEMORATIVE EVENTS

At KOMPAS Hotel Aalborg, we create the setting for a calm and atmospheric memorial service after the funeral or burial of your loved one. We have many years of experience in organising memorial gatherings, and our bright, well-appointed rooms, which can accommodate up to 100 guests, create a good and safe atmosphere.

Purchase options:

pretzel: +35 kr. per person.
Layer cake: +40 DKK per person.
Soft drinks/juice: +34 DKK per person.
Beer: +42 kr. per person.

The table decorations are classic and simple and larger floral decorations can be purchased or brought your own.
Other beverages can be purchased, and if you have any special requests for the menu or anything else, we are happy to help.
There is ample parking right by the door.

An event is calculated for 3 hours, after which you pay DKK 900 per hour or part thereof in room hire.

GLASS MAKING

The glass you choose for your wine is certainly not unimportant. The shape of the glass has a big impact on both aroma and flavour at the moment you consume the wine. 

At the Glass Tasting at KOMPAS Hotel, you will experience the surprising difference a glass can have on the flavours of wine when you taste five wines in four different Riedel glasses.

Austrian glass company Riedel has researched the influence of the sense of smell and taste buds in relation to glass design, and the right glass for the right wine can actually make a wine smell and taste more like 50%. It sounds like a stretch of the imagination, but it's very real and has to be experienced to be believed! The glass tasting can end with a delicious tapas dish from our kitchen.
